Communication Breakdown
Communication Breakdown is a rock/popband from Breda. Known for their melodic style with an edgy sound.
The debut ED-DELICIOUS is released in 2002.
A mix from bluesy rock and pop where CB is seeking for an own sound. CB is playing in W2 and 013.
The band also tours in Germany.
After a change of musicians withing the band songwriter Vic decides to change the musical course.
Result is HIGH ON COFFEE where the compositions are more structured en show more depth lyrically.
The band makes it throught to the semi finals of the Emergenza project. CB is playing more acoustich sessions,
as the songs tend to become more melodic.
CB is also asked to record and perform the campaignsong of the Socialistic Party.
In 2009 the recording sessions of WAITING FOR JUNE starts. One year later it is released as an online release.
Communication Breakdown have produced a mix of excellent quality compositions with musical highlights.
BN De Stem reviews the album as a excellent mix of surprising arrangements and poppy songs.
Vic is called the best rocksinger in Breda.
The band is planning a release in 2010 and can be found on different stages in Holland and Germany again!

Vic
Vic van den Bosch is the lead vocalist of Communication Breakdown. He also plays the guitar.
Vic is the main songwriter and has wrote 95% of the band`s material. He has mixed the `Waiting for June` album as well. He has started playing the trumpet very early in life. After he picked up guitar the band was formed. His influences range from Rock to jazz and classical music.
Tijmen
Tijmen van Dijl is the drummer of the band since 2008. He is also the youngest member.
Tijmen has been active playing in different bands with opposite styles. Earlier he played in a ska-like band, while now he is playing rock with Communication Breakdown.
His wide taste in music makes him a steady all round drummer.
Oscar
Oscar van den Bosch is the bass player of Communication Breakdown. He also is the founder of the band.
Oscar started playing clarinet as a child. Later he picked up the bass guitar. Apart from this instrument he enjoys playing drums as well. During a rehearsal break he usually can be found behind the drum kit.
His influences are embedded in the rock/blues music. AC/DC and Queen are a few of his inspirations.
Arjan
Arjan Desjardijn has joined the band in 2007.
Apart from his musical contribution he also wrote a track for the `waiting for june` album. His main instrument is guitar, but he also does some lead and backing vocals. Arjan has been maintaining a website, offering sheet music. Unfortunately the site has been taken off the internet. His influences range from Rock to singer songwriter music.
